Cayuga ducks are a beautiful and distinctive heritage breed, famous for their stunning glossy black plumage with an iridescent green sheen. They are a hardy, calm and friendly breed, making them a wonderful addition to backyard flocks, hobby farms and breeding programs. Cayugas are good foragers and can produce attractive eggs that may range from dark grey or black early in the laying season to lighter shades as the season progresses.
